- Otis D. Thompson, a student, spoke at Ypsilanti Sunday afternoon. - Dr. Reynolds opened acampaign in this state at Flint on Wednesday last. - John 11. Clark opens a cainpaign in this state April 1, in behalf of the order f ' ' l ■■ Tt'iuplars. - The Tpsilanti Commercial complimenta Luther Benson and hopos he will again visit that city. - The Hilan reform club put $17 in their treasury by an exhibifion of the local dramatio troupe on the 7th ultimo. - Levant Brown of New York city, made a telling speech for temperance and reform at the Opera Houso meeting Sunday afternoon. Ho spoke for nearly two hours, and when heelosed a number of haid drinkers donned the colors and uuited with the club. - Very exteusive arrangoments are being made for the second anniversary of the Reform Club, which is to commenceon Wednesday evening, March 26. The meetings are to be held in the Opera House, and will continue one week, and perhaps longer. The following speakers havo boen engaged : Col. O. T. Beard, of Detroit ; Luther Benson, of Indianapolis ; Levant Brown, of Naw York ; Rev. Dan. R. Shier, of Saline ; Jerome Murray of Toledo ; Judgo Pinckney, of Lansing, and Judge Mitchell, of Port Huron. The history of the club will be read by tho Rov. R. B. Pope, of this city.
