Dunning in Milán, carne very near being burned up on the 3rd. The fainily were all absent from tho house during the afternoon, until about 4 o'clock when a son of Mrs. Dunning upon returuing from school, opened the door and found the bouse filled with sinoke. Upon investigation it was found that the parlor floor was completely burned through - nearly large enough to let the stove through - and had begun to blaze with such force, that the house would have soon been beyond being saved. Thefire is supposed to have originated from sparks dropped upon the carpet from the stove, before the family left the house.
