Saline, March 24. -John C. Wood of Detroit formerly of this placo was in town last Monday. - Eichard Gauntlett bas been confined to the bouse several days by siokness. - Eider Adams of the Baptist churcb has handed in bis resiguation to take effect at once. -The woinairs Temperance Union will bold a county convontion at this place some time in the latter part of April. -The Reform club will give an entertainment at Union school hall for the benefit of Bobert E. Frazer, April II. The amateurs will put on the boards for the occasion " Little Brown Jug" and " Poor Pillicody." - Fred Wallace while at the depot one day last week picked up a pocket book coutaining twenty-two dollars but shortly aftor found an owner in the person of Mrs. Louis Howard. FortĂșnate for tho lady that Fred was the finder.
