Saline, Apr. 1. - Miss Minnie Burkhart is suffering with a severe attackof erysipelas. - Martino, the magician showed to a very poor house last Saturday evening. - Miss Green and Miss Addie Riggs of this place will go to Milan and open a millinery stock. - Win. J. Howard of Detroit is in town being ca.lled hither by the sickness of his aunt Mrs. Win. Brainard. - Died at her home in Pittsfield Mar, 31, Mrs. Blackmerwifeof MathiasBlackmer, of consumption aged 45 years, - Pred, oldest Son of Jacob Sturm vvhile visiting at his gandfathers, Mr. Kerr on Saturday last feil and broke his leg. - Knos Rogers fortnerly of this place and now in the eraploy of Voorhees & Co. coinmissionrnerchants of Detroit was in town last week. - Gilbert Brown proprietor of the hotel at Bellevüie was in town last week and says he will be with us goods and chattels by the first of May. - Wm. Orr, son of Seldeu Orr, whi'.e engaged in sawing wood on JVlonday last with a machine met with a severe accident the wood talling upon him and oruohing his leg; above the knee and sustaining other minor injuries. Doctors Watson and Nichols called and reduced the fracture; they think it will not prove serious beyond laying him up for a short time.
