Passed The House
The House passed the Ariuy Appropriationbill, Saturd'ay, by a voto of 148 to 122, in substantially the shape in which it was introduced. The bill re ceived not only every Democratie vote that was given, but also nearly every Greenback vote - thus showing that the " obnoxious" amendments aro even stronger than the party whioh fathers them. The bill now goes tothe Senate, where the Republicana will makn another foolish fight against it, only to bebeaten at last. Then it will come tho Prosident's turn. The " stalwarts" are very busy stiffening his vertebral column, but with what success reniains to be peen.
