Judge Huntingtoii completed bis last term of court ia Ann Arbor Saturday, the recent Judicial Circuit bill having transferred Washtenaw county to a new circuit- the Twenty-second- composed of Washtenaw and Monroe counties. The bar of Washtenaw county made use of the occasion to exyress their regard and e3teem for Judge Huntington by presenting him with a handsome gold-headed cane, on wbich was engraved the words, " Presented to Judge Huntington trom the bar of Washtenaw County" The cane was accompanied by the following note, signed by the entire bar of Washtenaw county, with the exoeption of one or Uvo lawyers, who were absent froin home and consequent ly unable to be reached ; "Inasinuch as the Hon. George M. Huntington is about to close his eonnection with the bar of t.his county, we, the undersigued members thuroof, desiriug to expresa our regard for him as a gentleman of unquestioned integrity and our respect and esteem for hun as a pure, faithful, and incorruptible Judge, do hereby unite in presenting to him a testimonial of our sen timen ts as above expressed." James B. Gott made the presentation speech and Jadge Huntington replied in appropriate terms. The entire btr of the county except A. J. Sawyer and ■ A. D.Cranesigned the note accoinpauying it.
