In Memoriam

A ppecial meeting of tbo lidies' T.ibrary Board was called on Monday, June 9, to givo expression to the sincere sorrow feit at the Budden death of Mrs. Harriet E. Henriques. At the organization of the Association in 186G, Mrs. Henriques was elected Vice-President, and with the exception of a few months she has always been a member of its Board of Directors. Her devotion to the best good of the Association has been unwavering, and her fidelity to all the duties connected with her position has always been recognized and deeply appreciated by her asBociates in the Board. Her last loving labors in conneotion with the romoval of the library will always be held in affectionate remembrance, and in common with her inmediato family we feel that we have sustaiued an irreparable loss.
