XPSILANTI, Jane 23. - Tho Union School cloaed Friday. There are four graduates, who will hold their exercises when the new Union building is oompleted. - Mrs. Florence Eice-Knox was in town last week, visiting her sister, Mrs. B. Turner. She will give a concert here Wednesday, July 2. - The Ypsilanti Musical Union assiated by the Normal choir, making a chorus of one hundred and twenty-five voices, and by Spiol's orchestra from Detroit, thirteon pieces, gave Haydn's tion" at Normal Hall, Friday ovening, June 20. The expenses wereabout $300, but thoy were cleared. - The schools are closing, and public exercises follow each other fast. Public Lyceum at the Normal last Wednesday. Public Pleides and Zealots the same week. The Baccalaureate sermón was preachod Sunday evening, at tho Presbyterian church, by Prof. Estabrook, and the Commencement exercises are to bo held Tuesday evoniug and "Wednesday.
