If these corporations are strong, presenting from time to time statements showing increased deposits it is evidence of a healthy busines8 community surrounding thora, as well aa cunfidence reposed in tbeir management. Iuterested as every business man in the city ought to be in the prosperity and safety of our financial institutions we note with pleasure the tact from a semi-annual statement elsewhere appearing in these columns, the increase of deposits in the Savings Bank of tbis city since January lst.
