Brick by M. P. Holmes and Chas. McCormick. - The Peninsular Paper Co. of Ypsilanti have secured the contract to nish paper for state printing, for two years. This Corporation has had the contract for the past six years. - Chelsea's school faculty tbus far engaged are: N. A. Richards, Miss Libbie Depew, Miss KateOldenhage, Miss Sarah Van Tyne and Miss Carrie Everett, leaving still the place of Precep'tress to be filled. - The bond of $800 authorizml to be made by the school board of ChelseH.for the purchase of land and the building of a primary school house, was taken by Mr. Glazier at four pur cent per annum interest. - Only eight creditors of the late flrm of Evarts & Co., of Dexter, presen ted theinselves at the meeting called on Tuesday of last week. Assignee's pro ceedings were approved. Furrnturf 6tock, hearses, &c, were ordered sold ai appraisers value. Rent the mili, if not sold, and continue Dexter mili for cus tom work. Eemaining property w&s left in hands of assignee to be disposed of at best advantage.
