Perkius vas re-elected, and Rev. J. B. Gilman was eleoted to till the position left vacant by G. W. Btowel, both as trustees. - A majority of the farmers in this vicinity have threshed their wheat and oats, both turning out heavily. Elisses Pamelia and Carrie Taylor and Miss Emnia Perkins of Goshen, Iud., ara visiting at Mrs. John Cowens. - School opened Monday with all departmonts well filled, and an increase in the nuniber of foreign students. An excursión train of 19coachespas9ed through this place Sunday morningon the Michigan Southern E. E. The oars wore well filled with people bound for Adrián. Over 200 tickets were sold here. The store of N. Schmidt & Co. is opened again - the goods are being eold as usual.
