Ashley left the city on Saturday for Boston to consult Mr. John B. Alley as to arrangements for an early and prompt completion of the Toledo road to Pontinc. - W. T. Jackson, who took the degree of Ph. D. at the recent June commencement of our state university, has gone to Fostoria, O., to take charge of the ' Postoria academy, at a salary of $1,000.
