The State Liberty Convention which met at Canastota nominated for Governor, Henry Bradley; for Lieut. Governor, W. L. Chapliv, one of the editors of the Albany Patriot. Mr. C. coincides with Birne}', Goodell, &c. in reference to the policy of the Liberty party. The meeting seems to have been a harmonious óne, and satisfactory to all. Alvan Stewart declined a re-nomination. Sevcral resolutions proposed by Mr. Goodell, and embracing some of his views of the policy which the Liberty party ought to pursue, were adopted af ter discussion; rather, as we suppose, to avoid an actual and apparent disagreement, than from a cordial concurrence of the great majority in their propriety.
