Gould, Donald Elgie
Ann Arbor, Michigan

Age 59, died Thursday, June 23, 1983, at University Hospital. He was born January 21, 1924 in Ann Arbor, the son of Edward Elgie and Mabel (Olson) Gould. On May 7, 1943, he married Marie Brough, and she survives. Mr. Gould had retired from the Washtenaw County Road Commission and during his retirement he devoted many hours at Westgate Standard Station. He also was a veteran of World War II and had spent three years in the U. S. Navy with active sea duty. Mr. Gould was a member of the Dexter American Legion. Survivors besides his wife, Marie of Ann Arbor, include:
his mother, Mabel O. Gould of Ypsilanti; two aunts of Cadillac, Michigan and one aunt of Ypsilanti also survives. Funeral services will be Monday, June 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Nie-Fontana Funeral Home, 2400 Carpenter Rd. with Dr. Donald B. Strobe officiating. Burial will follow in Washtenong Memorial Park. Memorial contributions, in Mr. Gould’s memory, can be made to the Michigan Heart Association or the American Cancer Society, envelopes are available at the funeral home, where friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
