Resident Of Clinton For 40 Years Dies
CLINTON—Mrs. Pauline Koskvich, 74, resident of this area for 40 years, died suddenly yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Johanna Hahn of Tecumseh, with whom she had lived for the past three years.
Among Mrs. Koskvich’s descendents are 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was born June 10, 1878, in Folca, Austria-Hungary, and after coming to United States was married to Joseph Koskvich who died Jan. 12, 1951.
Surviving are two sons, John or Brighton and Adam Koskvich of Petersburgh, Neb.; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Koskvich of Blue Earth, Minn., Mrs. Mary Sennewald of Van Nuys, Calif., and the daughter with whom she lived. One daughter and one son died previously.
Mrs. Koskvich was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held there at 10 o’clock Saturday morning with Rev. Mitchell Wittkowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Clinton. Friends may call at the Proctor Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock Thursday evening.
