Liberty Paper At Washington, D. C.

To the undersigned has been consigned the duty of receiving subcriptions for the above object. It is so well known, that I shaH not dweil on it, but shall merely state my öwn entire concurrence with the project. It is proposed to raise $5,000 as a national fund to sustain the paper, in case of need, and it wil] go into operation prob&bly, at the asembling of next Congress, lst December. Donations or subscriptions for the paper may be forwarded to me by post, to this City. They will be published from time to time in the Signal. I have already to acknowledge one from Messrs. Gurney and Hammond of Centerville, $10, to be paid on the commencement of the paper, as their subscription for one year.
