Age 79, died Saturday, March 31, 1984 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. He was born February 27, 1905, in Sault Sainte Marie Mich., the son of John B. and Elizabeth Klumpp Fraser. He had been a resident of Ann Arbor since 1925. He married Rubie G. Nichol July 12, 1932; she preceded him in death November 21, 1963. Mr. Fraser attended the University of Michigan for four years and had been a salesman at the Smith Floor Covering for over 30 years. He was a member of the Seniors Guild of Ann Arbor. Surviving are: a son and daughter-in-law, D. Bruce and Carol F. Fraser; two grandchildren, Patricia and John all of Livonia; one sister, Esther Fraser Schneider of Ann Arbor with whom he had made his home; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. William Cardwell Prout officiating. Burial will follow in Washtenong Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday noon until time of service at the chapel.
