Police Officers Promoted - Detective George Stauch (left) [this photo] of the Ann Arbor police department was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant, and Patrolman Harold Olson (right) was elevated to sergeant in the uniformed division in promotions by the Police Commission. Stauch joined the force in November, 1935, and Olson in November, 1945.
