South Lyons, Nov. 14 - Wilford Sopp took his life by hanging himself in a barn on his farm a mile and a half west of South Lyon on the Six Mile road, early this morning. His body was found after he failed to appear for breakfast following his chores.
He was born Sept. 30, 1877, and had spent his entire life in this vicinity. He is survived by the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Ira Markel and Miss Marguirte Sopp of Plymouth; and three sons, Edward in California, and Russel and Duane at home.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
