Edward C. Scheppner

YPSILANTI—Edward C. Scheppner, 67, died last night after a lingering illness at his home, 102 S. Grove St.

He was born July 16, 1881, in Erie, Pa., son of Edward and Albertina Laber Scheppner, and was married May 30, 1906, in Jamestown, Pa., to Edith Lapearr who died Sept. 24, 1925.

Mr. Scheppner was married Oct. 22, 1937, to Mrs. Louis De Nike in Ripley, N. Y. Surviving are the wife; one son, Edward J. Scheppner of Fresno, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Albertina Ellard of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Madeline Montagna, of Fresno, and Mrs. Rita Inbrogno of Chicago.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock tonight in the Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 tomorrow morning at St. John’s Church, Ypsilanti. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
