Otto Powers, 53, a resident of Ann Arbor 10 years, died at 2:15 this morning at the home of his son Donald at Ferndale, after a lingering illness. He formerly was connected with the Grinnell Bros. music store here. He was a member of Golden Rule lodge, No. 159, F. & A. M., and also was a past chancellor commander of Knights of Pythias, No. 44, of Ann Arbor.
He is survived by the widow, Amaret, and four children, Mrs. Raymond Wheaton of Ferndale, Mrs. Raymond Cannon of Toledo, Donald Powers of Ferndale and Horald Powers of Ann Arbor and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Dolph's funeral home. Dr. Merle H. Anderson will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Hill cemetery.
