Everett G. Bailey

DEXTER – Everett G. Bailey, 59, died today at his home, 8080 Huron St., Dexter, after a long illness.
Mr. Bailey was born Nov. 13, 1889, in Allen county, Ind., a son of Calvin and Rose Bailey. His mother survives. He came to Michigan with his parents in 1908, settling on a farm near Waltz.
He was married to the former Mina Gallaway in Martinsville, Mich., July 12, 1916. She also survives. The couple moved to Dexter in 1924 and have been residents here since that date.
Besides his wife and mother, Mr. Bailey is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carl Holtz of Chelsea; a niece, Jean, at the Huron St. address; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon from the Carl Keehn Funeral Home, Rev. John c. Whitcomb officiating. Friends may call at the residence until noon Saturday.
