Teens! Come volunteer at the AADL this summer!

Hey teens! Come volunteer at the AADL this summer! It’s a great way to meet people, see some cool behind-the-scenes stuff at the library, and earn volunteer hours! If you're between the ages of 14 and 18, all you need to do is fill out the form at https://aadl.org/teenvolunteer, have a parent or guardian sign the permission slip that you’ll link to via that page, and then come to any of the five orientations taking place throughout the summer. At these orientations, you’ll learn about what volunteering entails and have the chance to sign up for the opportunities you want to help with, including program prep work, stocking summer game orders, and assisting with a variety of programs themselves. If you’d like more information or have questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you this summer!
Psst! It's also a great way to get lots and lots of summer game codes, since every program you help with will have its own code!
I'm so excited to do this next summer if it's still available!
Stephanie, certainly it will still be available! We hope to see you next summer!
I'm so excited for this - I've been wishing I could volunteer at AADL for a couple years, but this is the first year I'm 14! :)
Great opportunity for teens!
I can't wait to do it when i'm old enough :)
This is quite fun, I'm doing this again.
Ahh, wish I could do this :(
I still have to wait another year...
My four year old wants to volunteer. He's an excellent sorter.
I wish 13 year old's can do this, 1 more year and I will be in the clear it sounds very fun yet i can't do it. I:
@mckenna10190: I know, I've been wanting to this for two or three years. It was pretty frustrating, but finally I'm 14! :)
I wish I was old enough
I was disappointed when I couldn't make it to the first volunteer orientation at Traverwood, but I'm planning on going to the one at Pittsfield tomorrow. Looking forward! :)
And I ended up not being able to go yesterday either. :( Oh well, I think I can make it to the next one in two weeks!
sounds so fun!
I can't believe it's already time for the volunteering to start again.
My daughter is interested in volunteering, but won't be available until after July 19. Is that too late?
@Kimberlyrol: No, I'm pretty sure it's not too late, as there are volunteer orientations until August 3. And I believe there is volunteering through August. Hope this helps! :)
What a great opportunity. I hope many can participate.
Probably going to do this next year when I'm 14!
I hope I can next year!
I volunteered for the first time yesterday, and it was an amazing experience - so much fun! (Plus, a code! :)) I'm looking forward to volunteering again this summer. :)
I love volunteering at the library
