Farming in Grrat Britaix. - A London paper states that at the 'present moment, with an nrea of 61,522,970 acres in the United Kingdom, there is only one proprietor for every 305 acres. The " stout yeoinan " class is rapidly disappearing ; (he number of persons Tarming their own land every day diminishes; a dozen properties are run togelher info the hands of one holder, or four smal farms are combincd into one large one ; thesmall farmer is now an animal al most as rnre as the small landlord ; and the former tenantry of the country, have become the laborera on the very land their ancestors cultivated as holders. Farmin Üke all other trades, is bocoming a wholesale business, and while a few are becoming extensive and wealthy ngriculturisis, the mass are sinking inlo hopeles poverty.
