President Lyndon Johnson’s first major speech reference to the “Great Society” is a part of the University's annual newsreel just released.

“Perspective Michigan,” a half-hour color motion picture, relates outstanding events and developments at the University during the 1963-64 year, including part of the commencement address by President Johnson.

The film, produced by the University's TV Center is available for showing to civic and service organizations, alumni clubs, and student groups through University Relations.

"Perspective Michigan" producer Barbara Roos features distinguished faculty award winners in the film. Considerable sports footage is used.
