Succumbs To Illness
YPSILANTI – Roy E. Wise, 67, of 1112 Sherman St. died this morning at Beyer Memorial Hospital here following a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 23, 1883, a son of Myron and Sara Frost Wise. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and of Phoenix Lodge No. 13 of the Masons.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. W. A. Stowe of East Lansing; two grandchildren; and a brother, Edgar A. of Evart, Mich.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at the Moore Funeral Home, with Rev. William R. Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
