At a meeting of the cjiizns of Ann Arbor held pursuant to naticc on the evening of the 2lih of February, at the Cuurt House, Rev. Chas. C. Taylor was cal led o the chair. and C. Clark appointcd Secretary. On inotiou of Wm. R. Perry, Esq. a committee consisiing of W. R. Perry,. E&q., E. L. Fuller, Esq , anri E. P. Gardnor, Esq., we re appointed to rppmt permanent officers of the Irish Relief Asso, ciaiion of Ann Arbor. The Conimittee re pn ried Pör President, Rev. C. C. TAYLOR : Vice PresidenlSy tïon. Dona ld McIntyre, C. N. Ormsbev, Esq., William O' Ha. ra., and Luk o Daly, and E. P. Gard er, nnd Meroïnnt W. Goodrich, Secretirics, which was adoptod. The meel ing was addre-jsed by E. P. Gardner, Judgc Mclnlyro, H. S. Wilson, C. Clark and others, in spiriied romirks, evincing a delerminntion, io respond in a proper manner to the demnnd made pon oursympaihies in thïs terrible crisis. On motionofE. L. Fuller, Esq., C. Clark, Esq. was requosted to collecl and present to ihe next meeting such inforiru ation as he can command in relation to thestarving condilionof Ii eland andother couniries of Europe. On motiunof Judgo McIntyre, the follou-ing gentlemen were appointed a com. mitee to present to anadjournod meeting, resolutions cxpressive of the senso of this meeting, and the commitiee upon lliis subject, viz : Donald McIntyre, Esq., Ja. W. Stansbury, Esq., Ge. Sedgwick, Esq., R. S. Wi!son,Esq„ E. Clark, Esq. On moiion, E. Clark, Esq. a committee consisling of Prof. Agnev,JuHge Dexter, Edward Clark, Houst m Van Cleve nnd C. Van Huscn, were appointed to preparo a circular to Le sent into every town in the cminty of Washtenarv, inviling co-operation in tho benovolent work to which ihis Asíocintion devotcd On motton óf E. P. Gardner, this meeting adjourn to Saturday evening the 27th iris-t. at half past Q o'cluck, at the Court House.
