Thomas Thorne

YPSILANTI - Thomas Thorne, 77 years old, Ypsilanti resident for the past 21 years, died Sunday morning at a local hospital after a brief illness. His home was at 118 Maple St.
He was born June 24, 1865, in England, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Thorne, and came to the vicinity of Willis with his parents when he was six years old, and has since made his home in and near Ypsilanti. On May 1, 1886, he married Miss Alma Goff, of Fremont, Ind., who survives him.
He also leaves two sons, Joseph, of Willis; and Carl, Belleville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Moore funeral home here, and burial will be in Childs cemetery, in Augusta township. Friends may call at the funeral home.
