The returns of ihe late pleet ion in this State are in, wiih the oxception ofn few towns in Coos county. The vote standi, Williams, (Dem.) 29,832; Colby,fWhK) 20,774 ; Berrv, ('Liberty and Independent Demócrata 8513; Scattoring 56. - Thus Wiiliams' mojority is 480, and the returns f rom thn 9 rumaining will probably swell it io 725. The House stands 49 Liberty and Independent, 93 Whigs, 140 Hunkcrs, nnd 3 Hunker districts in Coos to be heard from. Gov. Colby has appointed Thursday, 15th prox. as a day of Mumiliation, Fasting and Prayer. - Alb. Patriot.{t The averago speed of the passenger trains on the Western Railway, including stops, for tho last year, from Boslon to Springficld, was 25 miles por hour - from Albuny to Springficld, 20 miles per hour. The average speed of frciglit trains, including stops, was 10 miles nn hour.
