SCC Tennis Champs - Huron High is the newest member of the The News' pictorial of Champions. The River Rats are currently in first place after the quarterfinal round of the state high school tennis tournament in Midland. They lead Kalamazoo Loy Norrix by one point, 20-19, with the semis and final round today. Members of the Huron team are: (kneeling, left to right) Gordon Kamisar, Jay Alcock, John Lazar, Tom Kumasaka, Greg Pon; (standing) Coach Gordon Boettcher, Dick Anthony, George Shepherd, John Kamiar, Will Carrington and John Turcotte.
