But f we teil them, our nation is a Slave holding Republic, belying n all its prnclices, in iu obstintae perseverance ín opposition, in its propagandism and jnstification of cprtainly the greatest poliiical crime that can be perpetrated by a State, its frequent profeasiona of the equaüty of men and the divinity of theirnaiural rights, has become dishonored in the eyes of the world, and a hissing and reproach among the nations, then our patriotism 3 called upon to resont the intermedling influence
