Heart Attack Fatal To Retired Custodian
Irving R. Manning, 81, retired custodian at the University Lawyers Club, died suddenly Saturday afternoon of a heart attack while returning home from a downtown shopping trip. He was dead on admittance to the University Hospital.
He was born Nov. 14, 1875, in Albion, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Manning. He had lived most of his life in Ann Arbor.
He was married to Daisy Belle Smith of Ann Arbor on March 19, 1925. She survives. Other survivors are three nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Muehlig Chapel with Charles E. Sillaway officiating. Burial will be in Washtenong Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel.
