Mrs. Sarah Jane Trubey, who with her husband, the late Justin Trubey, operated an ice cream parlor on S. Main St. for 20 years up to 1927, died yesterday afternoon after a long illness.
Mrs. Trubey, who was 81 years old, lived at 436 Third St., but was at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chauncey O. Rogers of Detroit, at the time of her death.
Born Dec. 1, 1867, in Paulding county, O., Mrs. Trubey was the daughter of James and Esther Kimberly. She was married in 1887 to Justin Trubey, who died in 1933.
The Trubeys came to Ann Arbor in 1907 and opened their ice cream parlor in the 200 block of S. Main St.
Mrs. Trubey was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the church Missionary Society, the Gleaners, and the Grange.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. Frank Gervick of Ann Arbor, and Mrs. Harold Simpson of Evert, Wash.; two sons, Claude and Harold, both of Ann Arbor; and a brother, Benjamin Kimberly of
