Services In Ypsilanti For WPA Director
Funeral services for Warren T. Hanna, 33, of 1205 Pearl St., Ypsilanti, director of WPA recreational activities in Washtenaw and Monroe counties, will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence, with Rev. William R. Shaw, pastor of First Baptist church of Ypsilanti, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, Birmingham, former home of Hanna.
He died Saturday at his home shortly after he and his wife had returned from a party which marked the second anniversary of their marriage. Coroner Bradley M. Harris decided a blood clot in the heart was the cause of death.
Hanna was a son of Mrs. Blanche Hanna, Ann Arbor, and the late John Hanna, and was born Jan. 28, 1904, in Birmingham. He attended Wayne university, Detroit, for a year, and later graduated from the Michigan State Normal college.
Surviving are his widow, Dorothy Hoose Hanna; his mother; and two brothers, Donald L. Hanna, Ann Arbor; and John F. Hanna, Birmingham.
