RICHARD SHROTH, BRIDE TO LIVE IN ANN ARBOR

Suzanne Elizabeth Anders, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde E. Anders of South Bend, Ind., became the bride of Richard F. Shroth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Avery C. Shroth of Brooklyn Ave., in a ceremony Saturday afternoon in the First Methodist Church, South Bend.

The bride chose for her wedding an ivory bridal satin gown designed with an off-the-shoulder effect. Appliqued satin petals edged with seed pearls were fashioned on the full skirt and court train. Single petals bordered the sheer yoke and the long sleeves. She wore a fingertip veil and carried a crescent bouquet of white roses and variegated ivy, centered with a white orchid.

Miss Carole King and Miss Nancy Ellsworth, both of South bend, cousins of the bride, were the attendants. Miss King was attired in mauve satin and Miss Ellsworth in turquoise satin. They wore short mitts and carried colonial bouquets of lavender pompons.

Seat Guests

Howard Jones of Mishawaka, Ind., was best man. Harry W. Clark of South Bend was the head usher. Also seating the guests were Ralph Freed, Rodney Moyer, and Norman Carpenter, all of South Bend.

After a reception in the social rooms of the church, the couple left for a wedding trip through Michigan and Wisconsin. They will be at home after Oct. 1 on Maynard St. For going away, the bride wore a melon-colored gabardine suit with black accessories and a white orchid corsage.

The former Miss Anders is a graduate of Western College for Women at Oxford, O.

Mr. Shroth, a graduate of the University, is a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He received his master’s degree in business administration from the University and is now owner of the Great Lakes Shirt Co., chief office of which is in Ypsilanti.

Mr. Shroth previously was with the Dodge Mfg. Co. in Mishawaka, Ind.
