SALINE - Mrs. Minnie Klumpp, 69, a life-long resident of 8150 Dell Rd., Saline Township, died yesterday afternoon at Saline Community Hospital following a long illness.
She was born Nov. 15, 1894, in Saline Township, a daughter of Phillip and Catherine Wahr Stierle.
She was married to Herman Klumpp June 21, 1916, in Saline.
He died May 19, 1953.
Mrs. Klumpp was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and of the Ladies' Guild of the church. She was also a member of Saline Chapter No. 311 of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Pittsfield Union Grange and the Saline Community Hospital Auxiliary.
Mrs. Klumpp was a local telephone company employe for 15 years, and for 3 1/2 years was an employe of Saline Community Hospital.
She is survived by a brother, Raymond Stierle of Saline, and two nieces, Mrs. Rudolph (Helen) Gross of Saline and Mrs. Willit (Celia) Wandell of Urbana, Ill. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bahnmiller Funeral Home, the Rev. John M. Michael officiating.
Eastern Star services are to be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Saline.
