U-M Wins; March Quiet
More than 11,000 high school bandsmen entertained U-M football fans (top picture) who saw Michigan batter Vanderbilt 42-14 yesterday (report of game on Page 27). After the game, anti-war demonstrators marched from Michigan Stadium to the Central Campus without incident (story on Page 39). The protesters passed the intersection of S. State and S. University on their way to a rally at the Diagonal.
