BO SCHEMBECHLER ‘VERY SATISFACTORY’
PASADENA, Calif. (AP)—Bo Schembechler, University of Michigan football coach who suffered a heart attack New Year’s Day, was transferred out of the coronary care unit at St. Luke’s Hospital Monday into a private room.
Dr. H.J. Weinstein said Schembechler’s progress was “very favorable.”
The Michigan coach suffered the heart attack just before his team faced the University of Southern California in the Rose Bowl and lost 10-3.
