LIGHTING CHRISTMAS STREET DECORATIONS: Norman J. Randall, chairman of the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce and Retail Merchants Assocation Christmas Decorations Committee, pulls switch at the initial lighting of the decorations last night in a downtown area (top picture). Various officials look on. In the picture below decorations on Main St., south of Huron give the downtown section that Christmas look as they are lit for the first time this season. Christmas sales were brisk last night.
