Mrs. Anne Belger Mueller, 85, of 1848 Vinewood Blvd., a pioneer woman journalist in this area, died last night in Whitehall Convalescent Home after an illness of several months.
A graduate of the University of Michigan, she was a writer on the Ann Arbor Times-News when it was located on E. Ann Street, and she also wrote a column for the Detroit News. She was later employed as a private secretary.
She was also one of the first residents of Vinewood Blvd.
No near relatives survive. Her husband, Frederick E. Mueller died on Jan. 31, 1937.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Malcolm Brown officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pontiac. Friends may call at the chapel.
