Age 37, passed away yesterday at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Born March 13, 1934, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Harry C. and Violet F. Humbert James. Mrs. Pouttu had been a resident of Ann Arbor. She married Mr. Pouttu June 1, 1953. Surviving are: her husband; two daughters, Suzanne Louise and Jo Anna Marie, and a son, Jay Edwin, all at home; her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. James of Burbank, California; two brothers, Richard H. James, with the U. S. Navy, in Charleston, South Carolina, and John C. James, of Van Nuys, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Phillppe, of Sunnyvale, Calif., and a nephew. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from the Muehlig Chapel with Rev. Fred Maitland officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
