O’Kane Is Defeated In Kiwanis Election

GRAND RAPIDS -(U.P.)- Probate Judge Max Hamlin of Manistee today was elected governor of the Michigan District of Kiwanis International.

Judge Hamlin, who was lieutenant-governor of district 8, defeated James J. O'Kane of Ann Arbor, lieutenant-governor of the sixth district, for the office. The election was made unanimous by O'Kane’s motion.

Lieutenant-governors elected today include Basil Wheeler, Ypsilanti.
