Powrie To Head Kiwanis Club
Emerson F. Powrie, principal at Jones School, yesterday was elected president of the Ann Arbor Kiwanis Club, succeeding Herbert Welhener.
Charles Gregory was named first vice-president and Loren D. Campbell was elected second vice-president.
Named to the club's board of directors were Kenneth McKenzie, Fred Schmid and Fred Stein.
Calvin A. Wolf was re-elected treasurer and James Culp was reelected secretary.
The 1956 Kiwanis sale will be held Jan. 26, 27 and 28 in the Armory. Kenneth May is general chairman.
