Join jazz trumpeter Ingrid Racine as she seeks to demystify the art of improvisation! Through demonstrations of form, rhythm, melody and harmony by a band made up of Ann Arbor high school students, learn to transform the seemingly "random collection of sounds" into a language that can be understood by even a beginning listener. Come open up your ears to the interactive, challenging and joyful listening experience of jazz and improvised music!
