Ex-Hospital Aide's Rites On Sunday
YPSILANTI - A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Moore Memorial Chapel for Kate H. Rankin of 303 S. Huron St., who died Tuesday. She was 80.
Miss Rankin was administrative supervisor of the social service department at Ypsilanti State Hospital for 29 years before retiring in 1960. She was also a psychiatric social worker at Traverse City State Hospital from 1927 to 1931.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor, the Ypsilanti chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Altrusa Club, the American Association of University Women, the Republican Women's Organization and the Women's Federation of Clubs.
