Old Hoover Mansion Built By The Late John Koch
The old Hoover Mansion at 2107 Washtenaw Ave., sold last Friday to Tau Delta Phi Fraternity, was built by the late John Koch, Ann-Arbor building contractor, from architect plans drawn up by his son Rupert W., who is now living in Hendersonville, N.C.
Thomas Hanselmann, mentioned in Friday’s issue of The News as the contractor, was foreman of the construction company.
