Muehlig, Erwin W.
801 W. Liberty -
Age 67, died suddenly this morning, July 1, 1978 at the University Hospital. He was born July 26, 1910 in Ann Arbor the son of Edward and Lydia W. Guenther. He married A. Faye Collier October 10, 1941. Mr. Muehlig was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, a veteran of WWII, U.S. Army, formerly had been employed by Muehlig & Lanphear Hardware and was employed in the engineering department at the University of Michigan since 1965. Survivors include: his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Kathleen) Cramer of Ypsilanti; one brother, Robert E. of Ann Arbor; two nieces, Carol and Linda Muehlig; one nephew, Gary Muehlig. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Muehlig Chapel with the Rev. Robert O. Huff officiating. Burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Friends may call at the Muehlig Chapel 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday.
