Vasher Services
YPSILANTI - Funeral services for L. Bernard Vasher, 50, of 628 N. Adams St., who died in Friday in St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. John's Catholic Church instead of Monday as incorrectly announced in The News yesterday.
Mr. Vasher married Ruth A. Butler on April 18, 1927. She survives.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Florence Grubaugh of Ypsilanti; two sons, Bernard D. and J. Samuel Vasher, both of Ypsilanti; a stepson, Jerry Harcourt of Ypsilanti; and four granddaughters.
Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Florence Kempf, Mrs. Eleanor Durham and Mrs. Verna Thorp, all of Ypsilanti; Mrs. Mary Carr of Snover and Mrs. Geneva Hubbard of Willis; four brothers, J. Lawrence, Daniel C. and J. Merrill Vasher, all of Ypsilanti, and J. Earl Vasher of Leslie; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Moore Funeral Home where friends may call. The place of burial has not yet been decided.
