Two Ann Arbor firemen were promoted today to the rank of uniformed lieutenant by Fire Chief Ernest Heller.
Laurel A. Bauer, 37, of 1104 Pauline Blvd., a veteran of almost 15 years with the department, and Neil R. Rowe, 34, of 1205 Paul St., a fireman 9 1/2 years, assume their new ranks immediately.
