Edward Heisler
MILAN - Edward Heisler, 86 years old, lifelong resident of Milan and vicinity, died Tuesday night at his home at 221 First St.
He was born Jan. 9, 1853, in London township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Heisler, and he married Ellen Cauchie, of London township on June 16, 1878. They moved to a farm near Milan at the time of their marriage and later moved to their home in the village. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 16, last year.
Mr. Heisler is survived by his widow; a son, Edward J. Heisler, of Harvey, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. George Lawson, of Toledo, O.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and five half-brothers, Charles, Dan, Benjamin and John Heisler, all of Maybee, and Fred Heisler, of Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence, Rev. Stephen C. Crowell of the People's church officiating, and interment will be in Marble Park cemetery.
